So I'm watching a movie online with one of my Gaia Guilds. I have to watching it out in the living room because that's the only place I can get a strong internet connection on my laptop. Of course, Emily wants to watch Ghandi. Not a problem, that's what headphones were invented for, right?
Except she has the television at like volume 25. I can hear it over my music even though I've got it turned up waaay too loud. Seriously, she's not deaf, and it's a bit hypocritical, seeing as how she's always complaining about grandma and her TV volume. D;

It's really awesome when restaurants play older music.
What isn't so awsome is me spending the entire meal thinking, "Gee, that sounds familiar," or, "Where have I heard that?" or, "Is that the Rutles?" or something to similar effect. I only recognized two songs, George Harrison's Got My Mind Set On You and the Moody Blues' I Know You're Out There Somewhere, which of course made me sad. All I could think of while that was playing was Da telling Emily that if she listened to that song too much, the magic would run out. Ah~

I just spent the past half hour writing up a tutorial on how to print an image four different ways, because my grandma doesn't know how to print an image. It kinda sucks being the only one who has this: http://xkcd.com/627/ figured out.
Seriously, though. I have absolutely NO knowledge of computers, but I figure things out because I show some initiative and try things out before whining that it's too hard, whereas my mum is all "What's the "file" button?"
Or maybe it's just me thinking things are easy because I already know how to do them. D:

I cannot wait until November. I am going to see Billy Joel, Elton John and Matthew Good all within the same weekend.

I don't know what sort of construction they're doing next door, but it's making our entire house shake. The noise is pretty overwhelming, sort of like the noise an aeroplane makes during takeoff when you're out on the tarmac. My lampshade was spinning a moment ago because it was screwed on too loosely. D: I have a feeling that things are going to start falling off shelves...

How I didn't even know Meredith/Ivan existed until I knew they were cousins.
And I still find the pairing just so gosh-darn cute!
Seriously though, cousins? Like that's going to stopanyone who has more than a passing interest in the pairing me. In fact, I think that just makes the pairing that much sweeter.
